Electronic Assembler

We are searching for a highly motivated Quality Technician with in-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes to join our ISO 9001 certified team.

This position is with Hexagon’s Autonomy & Positioning division, a global technology leader, pioneering end-to-end solutions industry leaders rely on for assured positioning and autonomy on land, sea and air.

Our work touches every aspect of life, from sustainability on Earth to enabling autonomy. Within the Autonomy & Positioning division, your work will contribute to the operation of our brand Antcom.

The Location : Hexagon is a global company with locations around the world. This position is based in Torrance, California.

Responsibilities

As an Electronic Assembler , you will :

  • Solder and assemble RF hardware including antennas and RF circuits
  • Test the performance of antennas and wireless communication products using electronic test equipment
  • Conduct test and measurement procedures independently
  • Debug and troubleshoot hardware

Qualifications

Must Have :

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Some working experience of soldering
  • Understanding of the fundamentals of RF and electronics theory
  • Ablility to read and understand electrical circuits and schematics
  • Ability to work mornings / afternoons from 5 : 30 AM - 3 PM or evenings / nights from 1 : 30 PM - 11 : 00 PM
  • Applicants for select positions that require access to information controlled by the International Traffic in Arms Regulations ( ITAR ) or the Export Administration Regulations ( EAR ) must be US Persons per ITAR 120.

Key Success Factors :

  • Self-starter, able to work with minimum supervision and display a strong attention to detail
  • Goal oriented, and a team player with good interpersonal / communication skills
  • Strong work ethic

Nice To Have :

  • J std Certify IPC soldering training
  • Experience in testing RF circuits circuits using meters, network analyzers, oscilloscopes, and other electronic test equipment
  • Familiarity with ISO9001 : 2008 and other quality workmanship standards
  • Technical post-secondary education or equivalent technical / mechanical knowledge

Compensation & Benefits

Hexagon’s Autonomy & Positioning division provides the following compensation range and a general description of other compensation and benefits.

This compensation range is based on a full-time schedule. The Company reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range or offer other compensation depending on circumstances not related to an applicant’s sex or other status protected by local, state or federal law.

Our benefits and bonus plans are reviewed annually and are subject to change at the company’s discretion.

Hiring Salary Range : $20.00 - $25.29 per hour

Bonus Eligibility : We offer a company profit share and individual incentive-based bonus programs.
