KeyResponsibilities :

• Familiarwith all menus including wine and beveragelists
• Resets dining room according to mealperiod and table needs
• Performs restaurantservice preparation duties such as preparing condiments polishingglassware and silver ware brewing coffee and ensuring work stationsare stocked
• Informs and promotes guests ofdaily / nightly specials
• Offers creative sellingof products to guests
• Answers questions and / ormakes recommendations on menus items
• Explainshow various menu items are prepared describing cooking methods andingredients
• Takes into consideration anyspecial request dietary issues made by theguests
• Describes and recommends wine pairingsto guests
• Brings wine selections to tables withappropriate glasses and pours the wine forguests
• Ensures final quality check on food andbeverage prior to serving guests
• Clear cleanreset and maintain station duringshift
• Provides general hotel information forguests
• Serves food and beverages to guests andadheres to the steps of service
• Follows allproper credit card and cash handlingprocedures
• Addresses any guest issue promptlyand with concern
• Provides assistance torestaurant staff as needed
• Additional duties asassigned

Qualifications :

EXPERIENCE&EDUCATION :

• Highschool diploma or equivalent required
• At leasttwo years high volume restaurant serving experiencepreferred
• Luxury dining experiencepreferred
• General knowledge of Alcoholicbeverages
• Working knowledge of wine &winepairings; Advanced knowledgepreferred

JOBREQUIREMENTS :

• Musthold authorization to work in the USA
• Must beat least 18 years of age
• Must possess a validWashington State Alcohol MAST Permit (Class13)
• Must possess a valid Washington Food WorkerCard
• Must be able to read write and speakEnglish
• Must possesses excellent communicationskills
• Must be professional in appearance anddemeanor
• Ability to work a flexible schedulethat may include evenings weekends andholidays
• Must have a passion for creating anexceptional experience for allguests.

WORKINGCONDITIONS :

• Mustbe able to stand on feet throughout the shift with intermittentperiods of walking
• Must be able to frequentlylift and carry up to 25 lbs at shoulderheight
