Role : Licensed or Entry Level FT / PT Driving Instructor / Educator

Compensation : Starts at $20.00 / hr. to $21 / hr.

Responsibilities :

• Teach new drivers, both teens and adults, the foundations of being a safe and competent driver.
• Our driving instructors are equipped with a dual controlled car with a student who sits in the driver's seat.
• Clearly communicate with the new driver and their parents about where they excel and where there is more work needed.
• Travel to locations and landmarks all over the state of Massachusetts in order to provide a diverse driver education program
• Meticulously fill out paperwork to adhere to MA RMV reporting requirements for new driver education.
• Help students to develop not only their driving skills, but their self-confidence and understanding of freedom and responsibility.

Minimum Requirements :

• You must be an experienced driver yourself, with the ability to exhibit patience and follow the rules of the road
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Have held a valid State of Massachusetts Driver’s License for at least 2 years.
• Must submit to a Federal and State of Massachusetts Department of Children and Families background check and pre-employment drug screen (marijuana is not permissible with this job)
• Outstanding verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work evenings and weekends (you will have a set schedule so your schedule will be consistent)
