JOB PURPOSE :

The Regional Director of Clinical Services (RDCS) will add expertise and support to a robust and diverse behavioral health team providing wellness services, mental health care, substance use disorder recovery treatment, peer support, intensive case managers, and policy support across the Endeavors organization.

The RD will provide support and oversight to current behavioral health services offered with a specific focus on the day to-day operation of clinical (BH) services, behavioral health policies and support research and grant writing.

The RD will also support expanding our expertise in monitoring access, productivity, process management and improvement, quality assurance, compliance to local, state, and federal standards, policy review and creation, along with overseeing a credentialing and third-party billing system.

Community outreach, relationship building and supporting the funding opportunities for the behavioral health services. They will also support new grant implementation and clinical expertise in evidence-based interventions, data driven decisions and a Zero Suicide Framework of care.

Qualifications

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Operational skills to include fiscal responsibility, budgeting, processes, evaluation and compliance.
  • Support the credentialing and third-party billing processes.
  • Focus on local, state, and federal quality behavioral health standards compliance
  • Periodically assists in updating written policies and procedures that govern behavioral health care.
  • Preparing status reports by gathering, analyzing, and summarizing relevant information.
  • Monitoring and making improvements to access and productivity.
  • Collaborates with regional team members to assist / ensure that programs within assigned region meet or exceed budget.
  • Perform risk management and quality assurance to minimize potential risks.
  • Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner.
  • Identifying and developing process improvement strategies for better outcomes.
  • Assists with recruitment, selection, and hiring of clinical personnel
  • Develop, monitor annual performance goals and key performance indicators.
  • Oversee the onboarding process for new employees and maintain accountability of training requirements for staff.
  • Monitor the compliance of Electronic Health Records usage.
  • Provides oversight to the clinical internship program.
  • Directs and manages the standards for clinical Continuing Education Units (CEU's)

  • Additional duties as required

EDUCATION : A Master's or Doctorate degree from an accredited college or university in the Mental Health or a related field.

Must have acquired all related state licensures and / or certifications.

EXPERIENCE : 10-15 years of clinical experience is preferred. At least seven (7) years of experience with managerial / supervisory responsibilities.

Experience across a range of modalities beyond individual adult treatment to include children, couples, and family treatment is preferred.

Experience treating and diagnosing PTSD as well as co-morbid diagnoses (e.g., anxiety), with evidence-based treatments and providing clinical supervision in these areas, is preferred.

Experience working with Military / Veteran and Law Enforcement populations is strongly preferred. Must demonstrate leadership capacity and ability to foster team building and a supportive, flexible environment.

Experience working with third party / insurance based clinical practice is strongly preferred. Project Management skills strongly preferred.

Experience in implementing, evaluating effectiveness, and revising Clinical Systems.

LICENSES : Driver's License with clear record required. Independent license required such as LPC, Psychologist, LCSW or any other approved licensure to perform services.

VEHICLE : Must have daily use of a vehicle without prior notice.

TRAVEL : Must be able to travel at least 30% of the time.

OFFICE LOCATION : Must be able to execute job responsibilities from a work office, remote office location or from a home office as situations require or from an assigned office location.

OTHER : Must be available and willing to travel to various locations and with such frequency as the business need dictates.

Must be available and willing to work nights, weekends as required to meet business needs. Willingness to work other duties as required.
