Overview
This is an origination role requiring specific knowledge of the lender finance market, competition, and financing structures.
The team provides asset-based financing and a range of other financing products and services to developing corporations and asset managers which are leading lenders to US middle markets.
Responsibilities
- Cover middle market loan asset managers in order to originate lender finance facilities.
- Maintain relationship with existing client base and cultivate new prospects to win financing mandates and provide market updates and advice to clients.
- Responsible for structuring and execution of new issue asset-based and warehouse lending facilities focusing on middle market loans, broadly syndicated loans and infrastructure loans.
- Work closely with syndication department and other fund financing business units to develop O&D opportunities.
Qualifications
- At least 10 years of banking experience with at least 5 years of experience in lender finance.
- Expertise in structuring asset-based and warehouse facilities.
- Strong client relationships.
- Excellent credit and modelling skills.
- Experience executing transactions and negotiating documentation.
