Responsibilities :
- Input purchase orders into the company’s operating software.
- Interact with vendors, including dealers, suppliers, manufacturers, and sales representatives.
- Source and procure materials for various projects.
- Handle large job material buyouts efficiently.
- Maintain and manage quoted job pricing records.
- Keep accurate records and documentation for all procurement processes.
- Assist in ensuring materials comply with project specifications.
- Offer competitive and alternative material sourcing options.
- Support the estimating department with future job quote pricing.
- Provide material support to project managers and field teams as needed.
Requirements :
- Associate degree or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 2-5 years of experience in office administration, ideally in the construction industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Knowledge of planning and purchasing processes, including inventory management and supplier negotiations.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- High attention to detail
