Your Role At Baxter :
This position, through strong partnering with Baxter Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) Leadership and various stakeholders within Baxter, will support global capital processes for approval, planning and reporting, ensuring overall capital guidance is aligned to Leadership goals and sound capital management, and analyzing global manufacturing costs and metrics for actionable recommendations.
What You'll be Doing :
Perform analysis for strategic evaluations, financial simulations, and excel modelling to provide insightful recommendations and support for management decision making.
Present results to Senior Leaders for alignment
- Lead the global capital planning and reporting processes (Plan, Forecasts, LRP) in collaboration with key stakeholders
- Provide financial and business support to the plant or function enabling optimal business decisions
- Coordinate capital approvals and compliance with policy regionally and globally
- Prepare the Monthly / Quarterly Results Review, periodic LBE’s by working closely with the leadership team. Perform variance analysis, review reporting consolidations and communicate details to ISC Leadership team and other Business Partners
- Drive and own global financial initiatives alignment with plant or function along with updates in global FP&A process
- Act as trusted business partner, leveraging financial and business expertise to drive financial decisions
What You'll Bring :
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required. MBA and / or CPA preferred
- 2+ years of relevant experience with financial analysis & strategic decision making
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally and balance multiple priorities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook and ability to learn various ERP systems.
- Knowledge of JD Edwards (JDE), Hyperion Planning, SAP, Essbase and Cognos BI preferred
- Strong analytical skills, familiarity with accounting and strong eye for business
- Time management and influencing skills to drive initiative through complexity and change
- Initiative, accountability, and integrity with attention to details
- Eagerness to learn and continuously improve with willingness to challenge the status quo
