Rye Country Day School is seeking a Girls’ Varsity Volleyball Head Coach beginning August 19, 2024. Rye Country Day School is a coeducational, Prek-12, college preparatory school located in Westchester County, New York dedicated to providing students with an excellent education using both traditional and innovative approaches.

Specific responsibilities of the position include :
- Coaching from August 19, 2024 - November 14, 2024
- Development of continuity between Middle School, Junior Varsity and Varsity levels
- Supervision of players
- Oversight of the development and progress of each student-athlete
- Communication with parents and guardians
- Collaborative work with Athletic Department colleagues, Upper School and Middle School faculty and staff, and the broader school community
Desired qualifications :
- Minimum of 3-years successful coaching experience with adolescents in this age group
- A passion for athletic competition and the ability to motivate and inspire athletes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Commitment to building a diverse, equitable and inclusive school community
- Energetic and enthusiastic, flexible and patient
