We are seeking a versatile and innovative individual to join our team as a Marketing Communication Specialist with a diverse skill set encompassing social media management, print media, creative writing, and excellent project management skills.
This role is ideal for a dynamic professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and possesses a passion for building and enhancing brand identity across various channels.
This position will be primarily responsible for :
- Brand Strategy and Development :
- Collaborate with the brand manager to formulate and execute comprehensive brand strategies.
- Participate in the development of marketing plans, ensuring alignment with overarching brand goals.
- Contribute to brand positioning, messaging, and identity.
- Social Media Management :
- Oversee and cultivate the company's presence on social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and others.
- Develop and execute social media content calendars, maintaining consistency with overall brand strategy.
- Create compelling and shareable content to drive brand awareness and foster customer engagement.
- Analyze social media performance metrics and provide insights for continuous improvement.
- Provide Creative Brand Manager with monthly reports on all social media platforms.
- Proactively monitor and share industry trends and emerging social media platforms to maintain brand relevance.
- Marketing Collateral :
- Collaborate with design teams to create visually appealing print materials, including brochures, catalogs, and promotional materials.
- Ensure print materials align with brand guidelines and convey a consistent brand image.
- Liaise with external vendors and printers to manage the production of print collateral.
- Creative Writing and Content Creation :
- Generate engaging written content for various marketing channels, including website copy, blog posts, newsletters, and press releases.
- Collaborate with the creative team to develop visually compelling content for both digital and print media.
- Maintain a consistent brand voice across all written materials.
- Collaboration and Cross-Functional Support :
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, product development, and customer service, to ensure brand consistency.
- Support the implementation of integrated marketing campaigns and initiatives
- Event Participation :
- Work cross-functionally with teams to help plan and attend 4-5 company hospitality events during Summer and Fall and attend 4-5 relevant regional tradeshows and pizza festivals throughout the year.
- Work closely with Marketing Operations team to help plan and execute hospitality events.
- Capture and curate social media content at all events attended.
- Post and / or repost relevant material customer content on our social media platforms.
- Collect and share content created by guests with company leadership.
- Other duties as assigned.
Candidate Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in brand management, marketing, or related roles.
- Proven experience in social media management and print media.
- Excellent creative writing skills with an ability to adapt style for different audiences and channels.
- Strong proficiency in business and social media analytics (i.e. Sprout Social).
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Skilled in team collaboration and strong interpersonal skills
- Work on-site from Modesto office (not a remote role).
Candidate Preferences :
- 6+ years of experience in brand management, marketing, or related roles related to CPG.
- Basic knowledge of content management systems (CMS).
- Strong understanding and proficiency in graphic design (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite & Canva).
- Familiarity with website management and WordPress.
- Experience with digital asset management systems.
Physical Requirements :
Some lifting, carrying, pushing, and / or pulling; some stooping, kneeling, crouching, and / or crawling; and frequent fine finger dexterity.
Generally, the job requires the following percentages of time committed to physical activity : 50% or more sitting, 50% or less walking, and 50% or more standing.
The job is performed under some temperature variations and primarily in an office environment. Unrestricted visual and audio abilities are required for the safety of all employees.
The ability to lift up to 45 lbs. is required.
