Position Overview :

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Junior Sous Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in kitchen operations, a creative mindset, and a desire to learn and grow within a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Assist the Executive Chef and Sous Chef in daily kitchen operations.
  • Prepare and execute menu items with precision and attention to detail.
  • Ensure quality standards for food preparation and presentation are met.
  • Supervise and train line cooks and kitchen staff, promoting a positive team environment.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Assist in inventory management and ordering of kitchen supplies.
  • Contribute to menu development and special event planning.

Qualifications :

  • Culinary degree or equivalent experience in a professional kitchen.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment, preferably in a sous or line cook role.
  • Strong knowledge of Korean cuisine and cooking techniques is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a high-volume kitchen.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
