Nexeo HR is looking for a well-seasoned Logistics Technician for a Data Center. Must have experience and reliable transportation to and from the work site.

Responsibilities include receiving, storing, organizing, and distributing materials such as server equipment, networking hardware, cables, and other related items.

The Material Handler works closely with various teams within the data center to ensure that materials are available as needed to support ongoing operations and projects.

Responsibilities

• Material Receiving and Inspection : Receive incoming shipments of materials and equipment, conducting thorough inspections to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Inventory Management : Maintain accurate inventory records using inventory management software, conduct regular audits, and reconcile discrepancies.
• Material Storage and Organization : Properly store materials in designated locations within the data center, ensuring easy accessibility and adherence to safety protocols.
• Material Distribution and Fulfillment : Fulfill material requests from internal teams, prepare materials for shipment, and coordinate with vendors for timely deliveries.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2-3 years of warehouse experience is required. (Preferably within a Data Center Environment)
• Minimum of 1 year experience operating electric forklift models, such as stand-up reach, cherry picker, sit-down forklifts, and / or pallet jacks.
• Strong interpersonal skills are crucial for effective communication within the team.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent is mandatory.
• Familiarity with inventory management software
• Attention to Detail : Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling and documenting material transactions.
• Reliable transportation to worksite.
• Successfully pass a national background check.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 pounds or more) and perform tasks that require prolonged standing, walking, and bending.

$21.00 Per Hour

Schedule

Monday Friday 7 : 00am 4 : 00pm
