Overview
The Senior Group Sales & Catering Manager plays a crucial role in driving sales by expertly managing group sales accounts and skillfully balancing client needs with business objectives to ensure both satisfaction and profitability.
This position demands a candidate with a proven track record in sales within the hotel industry, coupled with a comprehensive understanding of the sales process and its significance in a hospitality environment.
Job Responsibilities but not limited : Preparing and presenting effective proposals, maintaining well-organized documentation and reports, utilizing Marriott Sales systems, including CI / TY and brand resources.
Coordinating customer service requirements as appropriate. Implementing innovative sales strategies, fostering strong relationships with clients, and expertly negotiating and finalizing contracts.
Selling guest rooms, meeting space, and other services to customer groups, managing accounts, managing site inspections, soliciting, and generating business Preparing and presenting effective proposals, maintaining well-organized documentation and reports, utilizing Sales systems, and coordinating customer service requirements as appropriate Identify new business opportunities and areas for growth.
Monitor sales performance, analyze sales data, and prepare reports for senior management. Collaborate with other departments to ensure a cohesive approach to market expansion and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of proven sales experience in the hospitality industry, with a focus on diverse market segments.
Strong negotiation skills and an established track record in strategic sales planning and execution. Excellent communication, presentation, and networking abilities.
Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite. Capacity to adapt to flexible working hours.
