Process Setup Technician

- Set up and change over machinery and equipment based on production priorities
- Install and remove molds from injection presses, ensuring all connections (water, hydraulic, air) are secure and operational
- Adjust process parameters and establish process limit alarms for optimal performance
- Ensure equipment safety features and low-pressure mold protection are in place
- Manage peripheral equipment installation and removal, such as chutes and conveyors
- Ensure the necessary raw materials are ready at the workstation
- Accurately complete mold traveler documentation as needed
- Verify that machine settings align with the specified process parameter sheet
- Work closely with Quality Assurance, Engineering, and Tool Room teams to ensure the production of high-quality parts What You Bring to The Table
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Experience in injection molding with the technical capability to comprehend process setups and manufacturing operations
- Ability to start a press and bring production to acceptable standards, documenting any adjustments on a process notice sheet
