Design Engineer

Summary : Seeking Design Engineers with a focus on industrial equipment, expertise in CAD and customer interface experience.

Requirements :

BS in Mechanical Engineering

Proficiency in CAD (AutoCAD, Inventor and Vault preferred)

Proven background in the design of capital industrial equipment

Experience with customer interface

Demonstrated capability to take full project ownership / responsibility

Willingness to travel (less than 20%)

Preferred Skills :

Experience or familiarity with the design of capital industrial equipment

Foundry experience such as working for a foundry equipment vendor, as a foundry project engineer, foundry process engineer or for a foundry system integrator

Responsibilities :

Develop, design, and analyze foundry systems

Collaborate with System Engineering, Production Engineering, Customer Service, Sales and R&D testing teams

Create and modify engineering drawings following GK Systems methods

Grow and maintain knowledge in engineering design, analysis, CAD manufacturing and GK equipment

Assist in developing new market initiatives and support existing marketing strategies

Continuously optimize critical designs to control costs and improve group efficiency

Utilize technology to enhance productivity

Support the Company's ISO objectives, policies and procedures.

Pay Details : $35.00 to $45.00 per hour
