Our client is currently seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to deliver acute care services for patients of all ages in Elko, NV.
The ideal candidate will possess a Master's degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies and have previous experience in acute care settings.
Pediatric experience is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities :
- Provide comprehensive acute care services to patients across the lifespan, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of acute illnesses and injuries.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Conduct thorough physical examinations, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and prescribe appropriate medications and treatments.
- Educate patients and their families about their health conditions, treatment options, and preventive care measures.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and follow-up care.
- Adhere to established clinical protocols, standards of practice, and regulatory guidelines to ensure the delivery of safe and effective patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, continuing education programs, and interdisciplinary team meetings to enhance clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction.
