DEPOSITORY

Our Depository team has an exceptionally strong track record of successfully serving the M&A and capital markets needs of regional banks and thrifts, commercial finance companies, mortgage lenders, and other depository institutions.

Our senior bankers work as a team to provide expert market intelligence, advisory and execution services while aligning with clients as teammates and not competitors.

We truly understand the depository space, and are highly active with a wide range of private and public companies that come to us for everything from IPOs and private placements to mergers and acquisitions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Vice President at Stephens, you have significant responsibility in supporting senior bankers with business development, relationship maintenance and transaction execution, as you continually develop expertise within Depositories. Key tasks include :

• Creation and execution of business development and marketing plans in coordination with Senior Bankers.
• Oversee the execution of live engagements, from the initial preparation phase through the closing of transactions.
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of work for Associates and Analysts.
• Recruit, educate, and train Investment Banking Associates and Analysts.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 5+ years of investment banking experience or an MBA + 3 years of investment banking experience
• Significant experience with M&A and Capital Markets transactions in the Depositories space
• Excellent analytical and modeling skills
• High energy with strong interpersonal, accounting and finance skills
• Ability to perform under pressure and tight deadlines
• Strong commitment to respecting and safeguarding confidential information;
