Job Summary :
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SQL and extensive experience with Microsoft Azure.
As a Senior Data Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, building, and maintaining our data infrastructure, ensuring the availability, reliability, and performance of our data systems.
Qualifications :
- Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable data pipelines using SQL and Azure.
- Implement ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to ingest and transform data from various sources.
- Optimize and tune SQL queries and database performance.
- Ensure data integrity, security, and privacy in accordance with best practices and compliance requirements.
- Develop and implement automation scripts and tools to improve data processing efficiency.
- Use Azure DevOps for CI / CD pipelines to automate deployment and integration processes.
- Proficient in writing complex SQL queries and performance tuning.
- Extensive experience with Azure services including Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Databricks, and Azure SQL Database.
- Knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL processes.
Education and Experience :
- Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5 years of related experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on Data Warehouse architecture and development experience
- Demonstrated expertise in Microsoft SQL Server and / or Azure development.
