Title : Buyer / Expeditor
Responsibilities may include :
Create and / or revise purchase requisitions.
Assist end users with purchase requisition submission inquiries.
o Building purchase orders, expedite and coordinate the lifecycle of a purchase order from requisition receipt to supplier payment
o Leading request for quote (RFQ) sourcing events
o Strategically source, propose price, book additions and manage contracts for consistently purchased inventory materials
o Identifying and implementing process improvement activities
o Specialize in transactional processes and provide system utilization guidance for efficient transactional activities
Ability to review error reports and determine root cause issue(s) and proactively resolve open issues including reaching out to vendors and stakeholders for additional information and documentation

Basic / Required :
Basic level of proficiency with SAP or SMART by GEP
3+ years of experience in purchasing or related field
Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft O365 applications : Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams and Word
Preferred :
Basic level of proficiency with SAP or SMART by GEP
3+ years of experience in the oil and gas industry
Efficient verbal and written communication skills
Self-starter with productive collaboration skills
Builds positive relationships based on trust and seeks collaboration across organizational boundaries to achieve goals
Builds effective solutions based on available information and makes timely decisions that are safe and ethical
Education : HS Diploma / GED required
Work Schedule : 9-80 Schedule (9Hr Days) - 5 days on / 2 days off
Pay Range : The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00 per hour; however, the pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
This pay information is being provided pursuant to applicable law and is based in part on market location.
