Overview
Responsible for assisting in the golf operation through various tasks and activities to ensure the successful execution of the day-to-day management while working cooperatively with the head professional and other departments.
Primary focus will be to assist in providing exceptional experiences for members and guests, teaching, and maintaining communication within the organization.
Experience Required
Job Qualifications
Education : Bachelor's degree in golf management, business administration or a related field preferred. Experience : 3 years of related experience;
or the equivalent combination of education and experience. Enrolled : PGA Associate program - Level 1 before teaching classes.
Experience in the golf operations, and golf knowledge. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. Commitment to continuous professional development and customer satisfaction.
Skills
Possess passion for golf and knowledge of the game and equipment. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Essential Responsibilities
General Accountabilities
Responsible for assisting in the daily golf operations, overall maintenance of equipment and the facility. Assist with supervising staff to provide seamless transitions between lessons and guest reservations during hours of operation.
Assist with monitoring performance metrics, effectiveness and provide recommendations on trends and emerging technologies in golf.
Assist with golf lessons to members and guests. Assist the Head Pro with the management of shop inventory, purchasing, pricing and merchandising when necessary.
Responsible for consistently providing a high level of service and environment. Work closely with the Head Pro to ensure alignment of the Golf Department.
Assist with the execution of special events. Perform administrative duties such as addressing member and guest inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and professionally.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds and stand for an extended period of time. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities, tight deadlines and continued influx of facility demands.
