Drywall Project Manager
We are seeking an experienced Drywall Project Manager to join our Commercial Construction team. The ideal candidate must have the necessary skills to manage drywall projects from start to finish, while adhering to deadlines and budget.
As the Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of our drywall projects to ensure successful completion.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist with the development of project plans and manage construction activities to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
- Manage project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure construction activities are completed according to the project specifications
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations and quality standards
- Coordinate and oversee materials ordering and deliveries
- Resolve technical issues with drywall and related materials, such as drywall installation issues
- Perform quantity takeoffs using PlanGrid and other applications
- Coordinate with other team members on design changes and / or updates
- Ensure all project documents are up to date and accurate
- Ensure timely completion of project closeout and punch list items
Qualifications :
- 5+ years of experience as a Drywall Project Manager or similar role in the commercial construction industry
- Familiarity with PlanGrid and other related software applications
- Strong understanding of drywall construction, including materials, installation, and other related tasks
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of local building codes and safety regulations
