Warehouse IT Support Technician

Position Type : Full-Time or Contract to Hire

Location : Onsite in Miami, FL

Rate : $18-$20 / hour

Our client is looking to add a Warehouse IT Support Technician to their team. The role has multiple responsibilities focused on applications and devices that support our distribution centers with product receiving, put away and deliveries using our application ecosystem and infrastructure.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with Managers, Data Analysts, and Software Developers, End Users and Customers to analyze, develop, maintain, and support technical devices and applications within the Warehouse team.

Here's what you'll be doing :

  • Offering day-to-day assistance for IT applications / services and warehouse devices.
  • Collaborating closely with Managers, Data Analysts, Software Developers, and End Users.
  • Concentrating on enhancing productivity within our application ecosystem.
  • Managing imaging, device configuration, and inventory control.
  • Resolving technical issues across applications, devices, and network equipment.
  • Ensuring the smooth operation of warehouse devices and applications.
  • Overseeing stationary and mobile devices for warehouse operations.
  • Promptly addressing high-impact incidents.
  • Driving continuous improvement and identifying root causes of technical issues.
  • Fostering relationships with warehouse teams and grasping their workflows.
  • Leading local technical projects and prioritizing support tickets.
  • Upholding policies, procedures, and processes.

Here's what our ideal candidate has :

  • Bilingual English / Spanish is strong plus, but not required.
  • High school diploma.
  • Experience in system configuration, networking, and software applications.
  • Strong networking understanding.
  • Knowledge of OS (Windows, Chrome OS, Linux).
  • Scripting ability (Java, VBScript, PHP a plus).
  • Technical support experience with documentation.
  • Familiarity with device management and troubleshooting.
  • Eagerness to learn production workflows and systems best practices.
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Ability to work well in a team and independently.
  • Strong work ethic and relationship-building skills.
