We have currently hiring for a System Administrator II!
This position can be out of Bismarck, ND or working remote.
This position is responsible for the installation, configuration, testing, maintenance, and monitoring of assigned hardware, software, operating systems, databases, security systems and file structures.
Minimum Qualifications : 1. Knowledge of systems administration, programming, and networking at a level normally acquired through the completion of a four-year degree in computer science, information technology (IT) or related field.
2. Four to six years’ experience providing technical support for the hardware, operating system software, security systems and file structures for an IT infrastructure.
Preferred Requirements : 1. Experience configuring and supporting Windows and / or Linux operating systems.
2. Knowledge of Wide Area and Local Area networks.
3. Knowledgeable of relational databases such as Oracle or SQL Server a plus.
4. Knowledge of software package deployment in a Citrix environment.
5. Experience configuring and supporting Hybrid Exchange Environment
6. Experience configuring and supporting Microsoft SharePoint online
7. Knowledge of software package deployment and patching in a MECM environment Duties and / or Responsibilities : 1. Work independently with internal and external resources on traditional maintenance and enhancement tasks.
2. Establish and maintain all logs on identifiers and access rules for assigned computer systems including the hardware, operating system software, data files, computerized business applications, and database management systems.
3. Monitor the assigned hardware and software components of the information technology infrastructure for performance, availability, utilization, and reliability to help minimize problem areas and to aid in the planning process.
4. Established backup procedures for the assigned hardware, operating system software, security systems, file structures and the computerized business applications and ensure the procedures are properly executed.
5. Conduct database and application performance analysis and tuning.
6. Participate in the development, ongoing maintenance and testing of a disaster recovery plan. Follow established procedures to recover the assigned hardware, operating system software, security systems, and file structures and data files for the computerized business applications.
7. Participate in company projects and assist in the evaluation of emerging technologies to determine the feasibility for company use.
8. Maintain appropriate documentation to be used for training, as a reference when key personnel are absent and as a basis for audit reviews.
9. May be required to assist with on-call support and technical emergencies.
10. Available to assist with scheduled on-call support and technical emergencies as required.
11. Performs other tasks and special projects as assigned. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities : 1. Good interpersonal and communications skills
