Dispatcher
Staffmark is hiring a Dispatcher to join our team in Pearland, TX. If you have strong communication and multitasking skills, this could be your next great opportunity! As a Dispatcher, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations by coordinating and tracking deliveries, handling incoming calls, and providing key information to drivers.
Pay : $17 to $18 per hour (Based on experience)
Shift : 1st Shift : 8 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM (Monday to Friday)
Dispatcher Responsibilities :
- Serve as the first point of contact for incoming calls and requests.
- Receive and record delivery requests, dispatching orders for products.
- Address problems and relay information to the necessary parties for resolution.
- Monitor the progress of deliveries and ensure timely assistance as needed.
- Provide drivers with crucial details about orders, traffic, obstacles, and delivery requirements.
- Quote job prices and manage priorities based on urgency.
- Communicate clear, concise information to ensure drivers understand their routes and expectations.
Dispatcher Requirements :
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1+ years of experience as a dispatcher or in a similar role.
- Strong typing skills and experience with data entry.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask.
- Active listener with strong communication abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and remain calm in high-paced situations.
