Intake Specialists provide short-term assistance to distressed individuals, families, and significant others. People in crisis may seek help directly, or can be referred by others.
Purpose is to provide a professional assessment and triage to the most appropriate, least restrictive treatment environment.
Each patient and / or family contacting or referred to The Pavilion shall be assessed by an Intake Specialist. A licensed psychiatrist or other physician oversees triage and referral decision.

Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master’s in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or closely related field, or RN with current and active License in the State of Illinois as a Registered Professional Nurse.
Preferred 2 years experience in psychological and chemical dependency assessment. This position is an overnight position.
