About Mesa Hospital Emergency Room

Mesa Hospital Emergency Room is a 13-bed, freestanding emergency room, located in east Mesa, Arizona, offering comprehensive health care services, including ultrasound, x-ray and CT services.

Mesa Hospital Emergency Room is part of Mountain Vista Medical Center.

Position Summary : Performs a variety of imaging procedures, including X-Ray and CT procedures, and is responsible for patient safety protocols.

Functions as the first line interface with customers in the successful accomplishment of their imaging needs. Participates in CQI activities and other activities or duties as assigned by the Director of Imaging.

Coordinates with other departments the day-to-day activity for CT / X-Ray safety and procedures.

Requirements :

• Registered as an RT (R) with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
• Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT certification in X-ray required.
• 1-2 years experience in CT and X-ray.
• Staff will be required to float between CT, and X-Ray.
• Proficiency with most major CT / X-ray equipment, hardware and software (GE, Siemens, Philips).

Preferred :

• ARRT certification in CT required or must be obtained within 1 year of employment as CT Tech.
• AZ CRT / CTCT certification granted by MRTBE.
