Showroom Sales Representative
Job Overview
Showroom sales representatives are responsible for working with both retail clients and industry professionals to promote the Bedrosians product line and gain business.
You must uphold our high standards of customer service and demonstrate professionalism at all times. You are responsible for educating clients on our products and providing appropriate suggestions and solutions.
You are responsible for communicating all company and manufacturer recommendations and warnings for product application and installation.
You are responsible for communicating with your clients during every aspect of the sale to ensure their satisfaction, and being ambitious and eager to close a sale and go the extra mile for the customer.
Duties
- Greet and assist clients with selections and follow-through on their orders
- Promote the Bedrosians product line
- Gain knowledge of all current and new product lines
- Develop relationships with industry professionals to increase business
- Enter orders, follow-up on back-orders, invoice orders, and follow proper pick-up procedures
- Maintain a neat and organized workspace
- Maintain showroom and sample department organization and presentation
- Assist branch in meeting monthly sales quotas
- Multitask and prioritize work through effective time management
- Work cooperatively in team environment
- Participate in weekly branch meetings
- Upsell clients when possible
- Work within the framework of the company's defined policies, procedures, goals and directives.

Minimum Qualifications
- 1-2 years of retail sales or customer service experience
- Friendly and outgoing personality
- Excellent Computer skills
- Excellent and professional phone skills
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
- Self-motivated and proactive-willing to take the extra step!
- Possesses a flexible work schedule
- Understanding of design and color preferred
- College Degree or equivalent Design Degree is a plus
- Prior experience in the tile and stone industry is a plus
- Design experience is a plus
- Bi-lingual in Spanish is a plus
