Assembler - 1st Shift - 19/hr

What You’ll Do :

• General Labor :
• Handle glass and perform metal fabrication tasks.
• Engage in assembly, glazing, and packaging processes.
• Training :
• Learn to read shop drawings and blueprints.
• Receive training in machine operation and using manual and hand tools.
• Standard Procedures :
• Adhere to standard operating procedures in the shop.
• Meet established daily productivity goals.
• 5S and Continuous Improvement :
• Participate in 5S initiatives to maintain an organized and efficient work environment.
• Apply continuous improvement principles to enhance processes.
• Forklift Operation (if certified) :
• Operate a forklift, if certified, for material handling.
• Safety and Environment :
• Follow safety procedures and wear company-provided PPE.
• Participate in safety suggestion programs.
• Work in an environment with potential exposure to sound, vibration, chemicals, dust, and fumes.

Physical Demands :

• Exposure to constant or intermittent sounds that may cause distraction.
• Vibration from using power tools and equipment.
• Occasional exposure to chemicals, dust, and fumes.
