Our company is currently seeking a Bookkeeper to join our team! You will be responsible for reviewing & preparing financial records & reports.
We are looking for a qualified bookkeeper to join our team. You will oversee key financial responsibilities in this position, including supporting payroll processing, keeping track of financial transactions among other financial duties.
We're searching for a cooperative individual who is dedicated to advancing our goal and has a keen eye for detail. In order to decrease mistakes and increase productivity, they will incorporate new technologies into their work while always keeping our company's best interests in mind.
In addition, the chosen applicant will work with administrative assistants and accountants to provide our management team with updates on short- and long-term business operations.
Responsibilities :
- Track bank accounts, deposits and balances; report regularly to management
- Track invoice obligations, make accurate and timely invoice payments, gain approval where necessary, and identify and report inaccuracies and variances
- Prepare monthly financial statements like cash flow, income / P&L and balance sheets
- Reconcile and verify all invoices and monthly statements,
- Help prepare tax returns including payroll and other appropriate business taxes
- Monitor office expenses and track related payments
- Make and track appropriate sales and tax payments on invoices as needed
- Work with external vendors to resolve any invoice problems or inaccuracies
- Collaborate with other accounting and finance team members
- Developing systems to account for financial transactions by establishing a chart of accounts
- Assist with corporate audit and other financial reporting requirements as needed
- Budgeting
- Obtain primary financial data for accounting records
- Compute and record numerical data
- Check the accuracy of business transactions
- Perform data entry and administrative duties
Skills And Qualifications :
- Bookkeeping experience required
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field preferred
- Outstanding organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally and collaboratively
- Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles as well as financial processes and practices
- Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize and multitask
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge of GAAP
- Previous experience in accounting, finance, or other related fields
- Fundamental knowledge of GAAP
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Strong organizational skills
