HRIS and Benefits Manager

The HRIS and Benefits Specialist will serve as a subject matter expert for the HRIS and benefit platforms functionality, user training and overall management.
Reporting to the Director of HR Operations, this position will partner with the team to provide outstanding customer service.
This position will maintain all benefit information and related compliance activities throughout the organization, while keeping abreast of all federal and state laws, rules, and regulations.
In this role you will :
- Cultivates and encourages a diverse and healthy work environment that promotes compassion, respect, and inclusion to boost overall employee morale
- Ensures integrity of employee data by performing audits, running rosters, and analyzing information
- Manages implementation of various HRIS and benefit administration systems to streamline data and improve workflow across several departments
- Keeps abreast of all State and Federal leave standards and administer company leave policies including, but not limited to, PFML, FMLA, MMLA, bereavement, jury duty, WC, and personal leaves
- Serves as main point of contact for benefit carriers and assist with escalated employee questions and issues related to benefit plans, eligibility, and enrollment
- Analyzes complex benefits information. Forecast trends and assist with future benefits designs
The successful applicant will offer :
- Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Human Resources and 5 years of direct HR / payroll experience; or 10 years in high-level Human Resources role
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication and organizational skills required
- Strong facilitation or training skills
- Working knowledge of federal and state employment and wage and hour laws (FMLA, PFML, ACA, FLSA)
- Ability to maintain a high level of quality, accuracy, and timely documentation of assigned work
- Solid analytical and computer skills
- Prior ADP Workforce Now experience
