Grow your career as a successful Senior Manager of Group Sales within ALG Vacations. In this role, you will lead our Group Sales Consultants to consistently provide best-in-class sales and customer service on all travel advisor group opportunities.

In addition, you will focus on group sales process improvements and conversion and also be a key contributor to the group sales technology enhancements.

You will also have a strong supplier component, helping to lead group policy & concession analysis and rate load strategy.

A successful Senior Manager of Group Sales will :

  • Lead the group sales consultants and ensure key sales metrics are established and consistently being met by the team.
  • Own key travel advisor relationships with the upfront group sales processes and ensure new relationships are being developed
  • Actively participate and rollout group technology projects that impact the group sales process
  • Lead the idea generation process for the group sales closer team and make certain process improvements are implemented effectively.
  • Own rate load strategy for key suppliers & collaborate with Product Build ensuring timely updates to quoting tool and group team communication
  • Own supplier review & analysis of critical upfront sales components tied to group concessions & policies. Help lead discussions and follow-up negotiations with hoteliers.
  • Provide subject matter expert training and development on specific group sales functions to the team.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to ALG core values.

A successful Senior Manager of Group Sales will have :

  • 3 years of supervisory experience is preferred
  • Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Teams and Excel
  • CRM system experience is preferred, currently using Salesforce
  • Ability to multi-task and operate in a fast paced, customer centric department
  • Ability to travel up to 5%, sometimes internationally
