Responsibilities
- Meet monthly forecast for car sales volume sustaining sufficient gross to meet profit objectives.
- Create and organize all sales activities for the Sales department.
- Ensure that salespeople are informed of all inventory and current advertising efforts including rebates and incentives.
In addition, build rapport with them and assist with their sales.
- Appraise all incoming vehicles.
- Ensure that cosmetic and mechanical reconditioning is performed within the dealership's cost and time limitations.
- Establish and control wholesaling activities.
- Work with General Managers to forecast monthly sales expenses.
- Enhance customer satisfaction during the entire purchase experience.
- Demonstrate behavior consistent with the Company's Values in all interactions with customers, co-workers, and vendors.
- Partner with the Financial Services Department to develop and coordinate best practices for the most efficient and effective sales approach.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- 2 years of Automotive Sales Management experience
- Proficient at operating a personal computer including Microsoft Office : Excel and Word.
- ADP Dealer Services Experience a plus.
- Ability to work independently and be self-motivated.
- Outstanding communication skills in both verbal and written.
- Strong take charge leadership attitude with a record of team building to include recruiting, training, and motivating.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Knowledge of the local market and auctions.
