IT & Equipment Coordinator

The IT & Equipment Coordinator will be responsible for all equipment in our 3 offices. He / She must have reliable transpiration in order to travel between our offices and our clients' sites to set up new phones and guard tracking system and troubleshoot problems with phones and software programs.

Have enough IT knowledge to assist our IT Administrator with computer set-ups for admin staff, troubleshoot IT issues staff may be having and perform other functions that the IT Administrator needs assistance with.

The duties include but are not limited to :

  • Assisting IT Administrator with server updates
  • Creating local profiles on company PC’s / laptops for all employees
  • Setting up parallels and winteam for new admin staff and dispatchers
  • Monitoring the guard tour monitoring system and reporting irregularities to the corresponding account manager
  • Integrating the guard tour software on various sites per clients instructions / request
  • Monitor and keep record of all landlines, cellphones, and tablets distributed throughout the company
  • Assist administrative staff with issues regarding their PC’s, laptops, phones, and sites that have the guard tour monitoring system.
  • Meet with clients to discuss the uses and mechanics of the guard tour monitoring system.

Office Management :

  • Schedule Maintenance with electric, HVAC, plumbing, or cleaners as issues arise at all three offices
  • Minimal repairs such as AC filters, lights, or small plumbing issues.
  • Monitoring weather and being available afterhours for power outages in the office so that servers could be reset.

Fleet / Firearm (assist) :

  • Issue firearms through the proper channels when Fleet / Firearm Manager authorizes.
  • Assist the Fleet / Firearms Manager with cleaning and inspecting weapons in safe
  • Assist the Fleet / Firearms Manager with the return of weapons processed through our system
  • Assist the Fleet / Firearms Manager with the movement of vehicles (on / off site, towing, and to / from repair shop)
  • Other duties as assigned.
