You’d like to do this
- Lead the technical development of a new large-scale database for a federal government national security customer on a high-profile, emerging topic of global importance.
- Lay the foundation of a new source system of record.
- Build, scale, and maintain a database that ingests and normalizes a variety of file formats.
- Use your experience in applying best practices in cloud infrastructure engineering and database architectures.
- Translate customer desired outcomes into practical technical solutions.
- Work alongside a team of full-stack software engineers using Agile methodologies.
You’re required to have this
- Demonstrated success as a cloud infrastructure engineer, to include deep understanding of infrastructure as code (IAS), DevOps, systems administration, or as a system engineer.
- 12 years of experience. A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related discipline may be substituted for 4 years of experience.
A Master’s Degree may be substituted for 6 years of experience. A . may be substituted for 7 years of experience.
- Proven understanding and implementation of industry best practices for IAC or database engineering.
- Experience building and maintaining a large-scale database.
- Proficiency in technologies such as AWS, Terraform, Ansible, Linux, Linux Jenkins, Docker, or Git.
- Active TS / SCI clearance
Preferred Qualifications :
- In lieu of deep database engineering experience, software development experience using tools like MongoDB, Java, JavaScript, Apache NiFi, or Angular.
- Experience building or maintaining infrastructure for public sector organizations or large enterprise customers
- AWS Certifications
- Systems Engineer Certification
- Working and succeeding on teams following Agile methodologies
