Description

This unique position will be responsible for two hotels in the Denver market :

TownePlace Suites by Marriott Denver Downtown , located in the heart of the downtown area in the historic A.B. Hirschfeld Press Building, we feature 122 pet-friendly suites that include full kitchens, roomy living areas, flexible living spaces, complimentary Wi-Fi, 24 / 7 laundry facility, and complimentary daily breakfast.

Denver Health Hospital is next door, and we’re a short walk to the Colorado Convention Center.

TownePlace Suites by Marriott Denver West / Federal Center has 106 reimagined and thoughtfully designed suites. Our accommodations provide home-like amenities ideally suited to the modern business traveler, vacationer, and longer-stay guest.

Essential Job Functions :

  • Offer our guests unparalleled service with warmth and attentiveness
  • Carry out the tasks, functions, and responsibilities of the Sales Department
  • Participate actively in annual budget planning, goal setting, and implementation alongside the General Manager
  • Lead ongoing research in the travel industry to identify market trends and insights for developing innovative marketing strategies or annual Marketing Plans
  • Cultivate strong, cooperative relationships with every department in the hotel

Hotel Specific :

Salary : $105,000 - $115,000 annually

Physical Demands :

  • Ability to sit for long periods of time
  • Ability to exercise judgement in evaluating situations and making sound decisions

Qualifications : Education :

Education :

High school diploma or its equivalent

Experience :

6-years Hotel Sales Management experience preferred

  • 6 -years Sales Management experience required
  • Confident utilizing MS outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Previous experience with FOSSE a plus.
  • Food Handlers Certification
  • Alcohol Beverage Servers Certification
  • Valid Driver’s License
