VCRNOW specializes in the manufacturing and installation of LED Scoreboards for school districts and occasionally churches.
As an AV Tech, you will be a part of our team on-site and help get those scoreboards in place! VCRNOW is looking to hire multiple Audio / Video Technicians, as well as Lead Technicians (you can apply for the Lead Technician in a separate posting).
The Audio / Video Technician will be focused on working mainly in the field (and at times in the office) on Audio and Video Installations and repairs.
A good percentage would be 75% in the field, and 25% in the office / doing office tasks. Willingness to travel is required for this position.
You will work with a group of 2 or 3 more technicians, with one being the lead technician on every project. This is a full-time position, with full benefits included, and PTO .
We are offering $37,000 + / - (salary) depending on skill level. As well as a $4,000 per year increase in salary as you earn specific certifications.

Job Responsibilities include : Working with the A / V Site Supervisor and other team members to accomplish assigned Audio / Video installations and Repairs Daily interaction in the Project Management system for job assignments End-of-day reporting of accomplished tasks Install, pull, and terminate wire / cable as per specifications Perform assembly, installation, and repair of equipment, materials, and systems as directed Responsible for reading and understanding assigned project documentation and work orders, and determining if additional information is required Daily communications with A / V Site Supervisor on delays, requirements, general status, any problems, and concerns with assigned projects Maintain a professional image and build good customer relationships All work is performed to Company standards and quality installation techniques are practiced Actively participate in personal and professional development and maintain knowledge of current and new technologies that the company offers Other duties as required or assigned Preferred Qualifications : (not required, but good to have) Knowledge : Willingness to learn Proper hand and power tool operations and safety Ability to read blueprints and schematics Ability to wire and troubleshoot relay logic Proper mounting of equipment Pulling low-voltage cable Audio / Video / Lighting system building and troubleshooting Skills / Abilities : Ability to solve practical problems and carry out responsibilities without supervision Ability to finish projects with excellence and on time Ability to organize workload for effective implementation Strong customer and results orientation Ability to function as an effective team member Ability to adapt as the external environment and organization evolves Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Superior customer service skills to deal with both internal and external interactions. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Proficiency in the use of computers Must be able to effectively handle stressful situations. Must be able to read and effectively interpret general business documentation.
Required Certifications / Licenses : Valid and current driver's license. Legally Allowed to be employed in the United States Travel : Out-of-town travel is required for this position Hours : Varies on job Office hours are Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm.
