Vice President of Aggregates Operations - Strategic Leadership Role
We are seeking an experienced leader to join our dynamic team in a crucial role that will drive the success of our aggregates operations across Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Louisiana.
As a key member of the executive team, you will report directly to the Region President for the Southwest Region.

Responsibilities
- Lead and inspire a team to implement our strategic plan, focusing on safety, sustainability, digitalization, and growth.
- Collaborate closely with commercial and logistics departments to achieve annual targets and long-term goals.
- Oversee plant operations and mobile equipment to ensure high production efficiency, quality, and cost-effective resource management.
- Develop and execute tactical and strategic initiatives to enhance production, mine planning, maintenance, and other operational areas.
- Drive short- and long-term capital planning projects and identify growth opportunities through acquisitions and mergers.
- Enhance and refine operational procedures, policies, and standards.
- Review financial reports to monitor progress and adjust plans as needed.
- Mentor and coach management staff to build future leaders and ensure adherence to company policies and objectives.
- Represent the organization at legislative sessions, committee meetings, and other relevant functions.
- Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and company guidelines.
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 10 years of experience in the industry with significant management experience.
- Strong understanding of financial aspects including P&L statements and budgeting.
- Extensive knowledge of the aggregates industry, including customers, competitors, products, and processes.
- Proven multi-site management experience.
- Strong project management skills and experience with digitalization and sustainability practices.
- Demonstrated achievements in safety, employee development, and team leadership.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and willingness to travel.
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or other advanced education or certifications.
- Well-connected within the industry, including trade associations.
- Experience across various product lines such as aggregates, asphalt, concrete, and road construction.
Work Environment
This role primarily involves working in a professional office setting but will also require visits to manufacturing locations and job sites.
Expect to encounter moving mechanical equipment, varying weather conditions, heat, humidity, and elevated noise levels.
