Responsibilities
- Performs LIS / computer operations and clerical functions as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required.
Graduate of an accredited Phlebotomy certificate program preferred.
At least 2 years of active phlebotomy experience required.
- The applicant must possess current skills in the required areas.
- Phlebotomy Certificate from an accredited phlebotomy program and a National Certification with one of the following recognized organizations : American Society of Clinical Pathology (ASCP), American Medical Technologists (AMT), American Society of Phlebotomy Technicians (ASPT), or National Certification Agency for Medical Laboratory Personnel (NCA).
- Communication and interpersonal skills, basic computer skills and customer service skills required.
