Overview :
The Inside Sales Specialist Intern will work within the Sales Operations group of the Commercial Office. He or she will be responsible for supporting new and existing clients and sales activities and supporting cross functional initiatives.
This role will be responsible for analyzing relevant target account information, industry knowledge, and market intelligence, to identify Invicro’s addressable market and specific prospect client needs and develop and propose business solutions for the external commercial team to execute on.
In addition, the Inside Sales Specialist Intern will support external meeting strategy and preparation efforts. This position requires interfacing with the scientific leaders of Invicro, as well as communicating effectively with Invicro’s current and future clientele.
Overall goal of this position is to execute on immediate tasks but also to prepare for potentially transitioning to a full-time commercial sales role after graduation.
Essential Job Functions :
- Support pipeline lead generation activities.
- Builds business relationships with current and potential clients.
- Perform company & contact prospecting
- Triage incoming leads from website, marketing, conference efforts, personal
- Execute market analysis to compare Invicro’s service lines against the addressable market
- Enter and track lead gen activities in HubSpot and / or iCRO
- Facilitate internal sale processes and communications
- Liaison with external BD team, support BD team materials preparation
- Initiate drafting of outreach messages
- Liaison with marketing team to cultivate leads from marketing nurturing campaigns
Qualifications and Skills :
- College Junior or Senior pursuing a degree in scientific or business field
- 0-2 years of work experience, sales experience preferred
- Ability to interact professionally and confidentially with customers and subcontractors.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and strong attention to detail.
