Position Summary
The Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) will provide clinical services to clients in need of mental health treatment.
The LISW will work under the supervision of the Clinical Director and provide individual and group counseling to clients as well as assist in the development and implementation of treatment plans.
The LISW will also maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress and communicate regularly with interdisciplinary team members.
This position does require evenings, weekends, holidays and on call time.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following :
- Conduct mental health assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide individual and group counseling sessions to clients
- Assist in crisis intervention services and make appropriate referrals when necessary
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to provide coordinated care
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation of client progress and treatment
- Attend regular clinical supervision meetings
- Stay up-to-date with relevant ethical and legal regulations and participate in ongoing professional development opportunities
- Participate in team meetings, in-service trainings, and other agency activities as requested
- Are accessible on-site or face-to-face via interactive videoconferencing based on the youth's clinical and / or medical needs.
- Available twenty-four hours a day and seven days a week

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution, Master's Degree preferred.
- Active license as a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) or above in the state of Ohio.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in mental health counseling
- Ability to work effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds
- Knowledge of evidence-based treatment modalities for mental health disorders
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary team members
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical and legal regulations

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The employee may be exposed to some hazards such as radiation, bodily fluids that may contain disease, and fumes from laboratory chemicals.
Compensation details : 60000-80000 Yearly Salary
