As a Floater / Substitute Teacher at The Goddard School, you join a group of other educators who are passionate about working with young children.
This position allows you the opportunity to work with children from ages 0-5 and gain experience with multiple age groups.
We provide all necessary training to help you be successful in your new role by maintaining all health & safety policies, all while having fun with children!
Compensation and Benefits :
- Competitive pay, $11-$13+ / hr depending on qualifications
- Full-time shifts available or afternoon part-time shifts
- No nights or weekends!

Responsibilities :
Assist the Lead Teacher in the following areas :
- Establish and maintain a safe, healthy, and nurturing learning environment.
- Advance children’s physical and intellectual competence through creative lesson planning.
- Support each child’s social and emotional development and provide positive guidance.
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with children and families.
- Maintain a professional commitment.
Qualifications :
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Some experience in an early childhood education center or similar program (preferred)
- Willingness to work any hours from 7 : 00am to 6 : 00pm (8 hour shift)
- Strong computer and technology skills.
Previous experience with digital lesson planning tools and software is a plus.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
