Nexus Talent Connect is Seeking a Passionate Immigration Attorney Wanted for Impactful Law Firm!

Key Responsibilities :

• Collaborate with department managers and team to meet deadlines
• Prepare and review EOIR & USCIS filings
• Represent clients in court
• Manage calendar to avoid conflicts and prioritize workload
• Conduct case and calendar reviews to ensure timeliness and accountability
• Analyze cases to identify issues and set client expectations
• Research statutes, case law, and legal developments
• Develop case strategies with supervising attorney
• Prepare clients for interviews and manage expectations
• Draft motions, waivers, declarations, and litigation briefs
• Document client communications and case notes
• Ensure client satisfaction through effective communication
• Work one Saturday per month as needed
• Assist with other case management tasks and office support
• Organize and file correspondence
• Maintain notes and data in company software
• Type at least 45 wpm; Proficient in Adobe Acrobat, MS Word, Excel, MS Outlook, and internet usage
• Occasionally lift case files weighing over 25 lbs.

Qualifications :

• Licensed to practice law in California
• 1-3 years of experience in immigration law
• Proficient in USCIS and EOIR procedures and case management
• Capable of handling a caseload of 150+ cases
• Fluent in both English and Spanish (REQUIRED)
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Team player with flexibility
• Reliable transportation
• Willingness to work from Los Angeles and Van Nuys offices (helpful but not required)

Compensation and Benefits :

• Salary : $85,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
