Qualifications
Required
- 4+ years of experience with a Bachelor's Degree, or 2+ years of experience with a Master's Degree.
- Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
- Experience using Excel, Power BI, and other advanced data analysis tools.
- Excellent communications skills (written and verbal).
Desired :
- Experience involving trade and export control policies.
- Understanding of Supply Chain Risk Management.
- Program Management experience.
- Project Management Professional Certification (or similar).
Responsibilities
Apply experience with data analysis, survey tools and approaches, the ability to convert data into actionable information, and a background in U.
- S. export policies. Support OTE's Industrial Assessment Division in their industrial base assessment tasks, which includes design, execution, and analysis of surveys;
- responding to Industry Requests for Information, Industry Notice of Inquiries, Section 232 investigations, and Foreign Availability Assessments;
and performing evaluations of the effectiveness of export controls on U.S. competitiveness. Design, edit, and support the execution of industry surveys and interact with industry to enhance survey compliance.
Collect and analyze the data returned from surveys, to include drafting charts, graphs, and developing written and technical reports to support government policy decisions.
Conduct project-related research on emerging technologies, industries, supply chains, and other matters related to the scope of surveys and other technical assessments involving export policies, controls, compliance, and competitiveness.
Gather, analyze, and monitor research data on critical emerging technologies relevant to U.S. competitiveness and national security.
Support the technical analysis associated with the development, planning, strategy, and execution of export policies related to national security controls.
Conduct export policy studies involving complex variables and intensive research; perform advanced supply chain analysis for a wide variety of industries, commodities, technologies, and product categories.
Assess the evolution of U.S. technologies, supply chains, and industries; foreign dependencies; and threat posed by embargoed or sanctioned countries in concert with Allied / partner countries.
Assist in drafting presentation materials for briefing partners and outreach with stakeholders. Perform data entry, database administration, and routine business operations.
Draft / edit chapters of industrial base reports. Prepare and process correspondence, technical reports, presentations, briefings, and other related documentation;
attend project-related events and conferences.
