First City Staffing is looking for a maintenance supervisor for a chemical producer and supplier plant in Robinson, IL. This company is a global leader and innovators in the production of raw materials critical to worldwide users of carbon products and advanced materials, including producers of aluminum, steel, titanium dioxide, coatings, plastics, concrete and tires.

Pay : $37.00 / hr
Hours : 6am to 2pm, could be until 4 : 00pm (Central Time) Monday through Friday, possible weekends.
Requirements :
- MUST have a clean background
- Must be safety minded
- Must be team minded
- Must be very familiar with mechanical maintenance, preferably experienced with the following equipment :
- Belt Conveyors
- Gearboxes of all sizes
- Bucket elevators
- Dust collector / baghhouses
- Sizing equipment : screeners and crushers
- Other general mechanical maintenance
- Refractory experience would be a plus
- Must be familiar with electrical maintenance : preferably experience with the following equipment :
- 480V electrical systems motors, starters, MCCs, wiring
- Control electrical : PLC hardware familiarity, field controls (dampers, valves, etc) using 110V and 4-20mA signals, controls wiring
- 110V systems for general electrical and controls
- Thermocouples
- SAP maintenance module would be preferred but not required
- Schedule / Availability : We have downsized and need another team member to run the plant for an unknown duration
- We change our operating state from crushing to what we call campaignruns
Crushing :
- Daytime only, personnel here 06 : 00 to 16 : 00 - 7 days per week plant is locked up at night
- Normal hours would be 06 : 00 to 14 : 00-16 : 00 Monday through Friday.
- Expect about a 40-hour week unless issues arise or there are projects that require longer days like repairs between campaign runs
Campaign run :
- Plant comes online and operates 24 hours per day, 7 days per week
- Maximum duration is 21 days per run
- Hours would be 06 : 00 to 14 : 00-16 : 00 Monday through Friday and possibly coming in on the weekends to make sure things are OK
- On call times :
- Part of their job will be to help alleviate the two management staff’s requirement to be on call and allow some flexibility in their schedule.
- Working with the OPS Manager and Plant Manager, will schedule times to be on or off call
- This means they will be on call and available to come in during off duty times.
