Our clients Houston office is looking for a paralegal to join their busy Litigation Department. The Litigation Paralegal provides paralegal services to attorneys and acts as a liaison between the attorney and the case files throughout all stages of litigation.
Litigation / Trial Paralegal
- 5+ years experience
- Bachelor Degree preferred
- MUST have trial experience
Responsibilities :
- Trial / Arbitration / Mediation preparation and attendance
- Case management, pre-trial through trial
- Organizing and managing case files
- Files documents in both state and federal courts and prepares e-filings when appropriate
- Acts as a liaison between the trial team and third parties
- Coordinates trial or hearing logistics
- Works with litigation support specialists and attorneys on electronic productions
- Communicate effectively and productively with individuals in all roles, internal and external
- Willingness to work overtime and travel when necessary
- Self-motivated and work independently
- Excellent research and analytical skills
- Experience with Trial Director, Blue Book / Cite Checking and Relativity preferred
