About the Summer Associate Program :

Our Summer Associates participate in a 10 week summer internship program. Summer Associates are technology and business thought leaders who combine the power of Gartner research, data and tools with subject matter experience and on-the-ground support to help clients move confidently from insight to action.

When you join this program, you'll support the C-suite and their teams with their most strategic IT initiatives and enable lasting results - all within the context of a rapidly evolving digital economy.

Plus, you'll be part of a growing group of consultants who are ready to collaborate with you as you start your journey with Gartner.

What you will do :

You will be part of a project team working closely with clients to define their strategy and execute their most critical priorities.

Your work will give you exposure to Gartner's industry and practice experts, comprehensive technology research, data and tools, as well as our award-winning culture.

You'll experience what it's like to work at Gartner and start building the skills and relationships that would enable your success going forward.

What you will need :

Current enrollment in a MPP or MPA Program with a December 2025 - June 2026 graduation date

Experience working within the public sector or working with public sector clients

Interest and / or experience in both technology and strategy

Professional experience in breaking down and solving complex problems, and defining actionable recommendations to achieve objectives

Excitement to work with clients

Commitment to the success of your team, and willingness to provide and receive constructive feedback when needed

Intellectual curiosity, with the ability to develop creative solutions and strategies to solve client problems

Coachability, embracing best practices and feedback for continuous improvement

Ability to build trust-based, value-added relationships quickly

Consistent high achievement marked by perseverance, humility and a positive outlook in the face of challenges

Gartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 102,400 USD - 135,000 USD.

Please note that actual rates may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location.

We also offer benefit programs including paid sick time off, and a 401k match for employees working 20 hours a week or more.
