This Soccer Performance Coach should have the ability to step in on day 1 and work with any client we throw at them. D1 Coaches train scholastic athletes ages 6-18 and adult athletes ages 18-80.

D1 coaches lead team training for high school select and collegiate teams. D1 coaches also provide 1-on-1 and small group training for adult, scholastic, and professional athletes.

PLEASE NOTE : If you do not meet our minimum qualifications, DO NOT apply. We are not looking for a Soccer TEAM Coach, We are looking for a Soccer Strength and Conditioning Performance Specialist!

Qualifications :

• MUST : CSCS, SCCC, NASM, ISSA, or CPT certification required
• Athletic / Soccer Background
• 1+ year of coaching
• Believes they can be the best coach on staff
• Extensive knowledge of Strength & Conditioning
• Ability to program for 1 on 1 clients
• Positive and energetic personality with a can do attitude

Preferred Qualifications & Experience :

• Degree from an accredited university (Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Biomechanics, or related field)
• Familiar with the local community; existing relationships with schools, coaches, and sports teams
• Experience in group, 1 : 1, small group, and team training settings

Key Skills Required For Position :

CHARACTER. This coach must have world class character & align with our core values. Here at D1 Training we work hard & play hard.

You must show up every single day ready to have fun with high energy. If you dont bring the juice, or are up & down day to day, you arent a good fit for this high-performance team.

COACH. This coach should be able to step in on day 1 & work with anyone. We have classes for 7-11 year olds, 12-14 year olds, 15-18 year olds, & adults.

We have 100+ one on one clients doing personal training & these athletes range from 7 years old to currently playing in the NFL.

You cant have an ego around who you work with & must LOVE coaching everyone.

TEAM PLAYER. At D1 Training we do not let coaches pick who they work with. Every coach must be a team player & be ready to train members of all ages & skill levels.

Every coach must be willing to coach 1 on 1, group classes, & semi-privates.

In joining our team, youll be responsible for :

• Developing and providing customized personal training programs for individual clients and small groups
• Implementing training programs for youth small groups and teams as assigned
• Ensuring safe and effective use of equipment
• Motivating and building positive relationships with clients and facility members
• Participating in ongoing personal training growth opportunities and programs
• Obtaining and maintaining required certificates and licenses
• Various other duties as assigned

A Day In The Life Of A D1 Coach :

You wake up, excited to help athletes accomplish their goals. You arrive at our state of the art facility, equipped with a world class weight room & indoor turf field.

You walk into the facility that has produced hundreds of NFL draft picks, thousands of college scholarships, tens of thousands of athletes who trained towards a goal & accomplished it (because of you - their coach).

You are greeted by a team of 8+ world-class Soccer players, all fun & friendly but also competitive & performance-driven.

You look at your schedule for the day & you like that you are on pace to end the week at the top of the coaching 1 on 1 leaderboard.

After this you have a few 1 on 1 clients to work with. An 8 year old Soccer player who has never played followed by a 17 year old Soccer player training for college.

You write the programming, you schedule the client, you show up to coach, & you ensure a world class product.

• You end the day with a scholastic team with ages 7-18 years old. You do exactly what you did with the rest of your athletes all from the morning.
• you provide a world class product.
• You end the day with a message from a 1 on 1 client who lets you know that they just accomplished the goal that they set when you started training together 3 months earlier.
• you provided a world class product.

Schedule : Flexible availability throughout the week, including nights and weekends, and at least 10-15 hours per week to commit to the position

Compensation : $20-$40 an hour
