Title : Analyst III, Accounts Payable
Maintains accounts payable processes for the DeKalb County School District (DCSD).
Essential Functions :
- Responsible for handling the process for independent contractors paid with school activity funds.
- Leads the annual IRS B-Notice process. Responsible for sending B-Notices to applicable vendors and ensuring that tax identification numbers for vendors match IRS records.
- Second level approval responsibilities for invoices < $50,.
- Leads the process of vendor statement analysis and problem resolution.
- Provides training for Accounts Payable staff members and bookkeepers on Accounts Payable policies and procedures as needed or assigned by Manager III.
- Processes the Accounts Payable check run as assigned by Manager III.
- Responsible for leading the Accounts Payable department / process when Manager III is out of the office.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or Economics with 1 - 4 years of related experience.
