The DarkStar Group is seeking a Software Engineer with a TS / SCI + CI Poly clearance to join one of our top projects in Mount Weather, VA.

Required Skills

• Design, develop, and implement software and database in an IIS / C# / Angular2 application with limited oversight.
• Lead proactive efforts to identify potential underlying issues impacting system function and performance.
• Lead root-cause analysis for all major system issues; lead team in developing solutions.
• Guide and direct technical team members across the software development life cycle as well as the Operations and Maintenance of the system.
• Lead the analysis, validation, refinement, and documentation of business requirements as stated in user stories.
• Lead the planning and execution sprints for delivering incremental functionality and corrective fixes to the system.
• Oversee the efforts of other members of the team creating, documenting, and validating test cases.
• Identify improvement opportunities (proactive and reactive) by assessing business process and system inefficiencies.
• Perform expert level troubleshooting and resolution of user-reported system issues.

Desired Skills (Optional)

• Experience with FOIA case management system development.
• Experience with Jira Project Management tools.
