Johnson Service Group (JSG) is a Tier 1 vendor for the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) and we are recruiting for an Entry-Level Balance-of-Plant Engineering Role.
This is a 12-month contract assignment supporting the license renewal project for the Browns Ferry Nuclear Plant in Decatur, AL.
This role is primarily remote. Travel for onsite meetings will be reimbursed.
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
- Local or Regional candidates highly preferred.
Target start date : 10 / 14 / 24
W2 Pay Rate : Up to $50.00 / hour (time & half for overtime)
Duration : 12 months
Hours : 8 : 00 am 5 : 00 pm, Monday Friday
Responsibilities :
- PERFORMS SPECIFIC AND LIMITED PORTIONS OF A BROADER ASSIGNMENT OF AN EXPERIENCED SYSTEM ENGINEER.
- APPLIES STANDARD ENGINEERING PRACTICES AND TECHNIQUES IN SPECIFIC SITUATIONS TO SOLVE OPERATIONAL AND MAINTENANCE PROBLEMS INVOLVING BALANCE-OF-PLANT (BOP) SYSTEMS AND COMPONENTS.
- ADJUSTS AND CORRELATES DATA AND RECOGNIZES DISCREPANCIES IN RESULTS.
- PROVIDES TECHNICAL INTERPRETATIONS OF DESIGN REQUIREMENTS AS THEY APPLY TO THE MAINTENANCE AND OPERATION OF BOP SYSTEMS.
- PERFORMS ASSIGNMENTS DESIGNED TO DEVELOP PROFESSIONAL KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES.
