Job Description
A successful Sr. Solutions Engineer candidate is one who thrives in the technical aspects of the position and enjoys customer interaction and project management to support our nationwide network of Distribution, eCommerce and CoPacking centers.
The successful candidate will bring Technical experience in engineering solutions relative to creating distribution center layouts, analyzing productivity, creating pricing models, and optimizing strategies in our current environments.
You will follow corporate and site-specific Good Manufacturing Practices and report noncompliance when observed. In addition, the candidate will observe all company safety rules and assist in enforcement as appropriate.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop comprehensive warehouse solutions with marketing, sales, and operations leaders.
- Support design, evaluation, planning, integration, testing, and project completion.
- Create solution designs, models, and pricing estimates for new business opportunities.
- Optimize the use of resources and improve operational efficiency.
- Analyze requirements and design systems using mathematical methods.
- Identify and eliminate functional duplications within the organization.
- Implement automated warehousing solutions to increase productivity.
- Recommend and optimize storage and material handling strategies.
- Improve warehouse flow and zoning.
- Conduct ROI analyses for capital proposals.
- Design warehouse layouts using AutoCAD.
- Manage outside vendors for capital projects.
- Develop and integrate solutions with customers and operations management.
- Analyze and improve existing processes.
- Create workflow plans, conduct time studies, and determine productivity metrics.
- Continuously evaluate and improve work processes.
- Follow and enforce Good Manufacturing Practices and safety rules.
Compensation $101,000 - 145,000 based on relevant experience and education

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain management or equivalent. Master’s degree in related field preferred.
- 2-5 years-experience in a distribution, logistics or warehouse environment.
- Knowledge of eCommerce, CoPacking and Distribution processes and functions.
- WMS / SAP / ERP Knowledge preferred.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing, continuous improvement techniques, Simulation modeling and digital twin preferred.
- A financial or pricing background is a plus.
